If you look at the about page for most travel agencies, you'll probably find something like "I started my travel agency because I love to travel." And while it's true that I love a week at the beach as much as anyone, that's not how Bliss Honeymoons was started.
Like a lot of you, I had every retail job there is. Bartender, barista, server, coffee shop manager — I worked nights, weekends, and holidays for years. If you've worked retail, you understand the reality of laboring for weeks with no days off for someone who doesn't appreciate your efforts.
I started Bliss Honeymoons to build something different. A place where talented people could work with autonomy, earn a living that fits their life and family, and do work that genuinely matters to the people they serve.
What We Actually Do — and Why It Matters
Our team loves to travel, and we genuinely understand what it takes to make it happen. You've probably got to figure out how to request time off work, find a pet sitter, and save up for months to fund this adventure. That effort is real — and it deserves to be rewarded with a trip that exceeds every expectation.
That's what we're here for. Not to hand you a brochure and point you toward a booking page — but to actually understand what you're dreaming of, match it to the right destination and resort, handle every detail before you land, and be reachable if anything unexpected happens while you're there.

We specialize in honeymoons, destination weddings, anniversary trips, and romantic getaways. Between our eight specialists, we have firsthand experience across the Caribbean, Mexico, French Polynesia, the Maldives, Hawaii, Europe, and beyond. We don't recommend resorts or destinations we haven't personally vetted — which means every suggestion comes from real knowledge, not a sales pitch.

We pre-notify every resort before our clients arrive — room preferences, honeymoon amenities, special requests. The resort knows your name and why you're there before you land. That kind of preparation is the difference between a good trip and an exceptional one.
Your initial consultation costs nothing. We spend 30 minutes getting to know your vision, your budget, and your travel style — and give you honest guidance with no obligation. A planning fee applies only if you move forward and book with us.

Since we started in 2005, we've encountered a lot. Hurricanes. Airline strikes. Global pandemics. We've helped clients who were stranded in Hawaii because of an airline issue, who wrecked their ATV in Costa Rica, and who ran their passport through the wash the night before they were supposed to leave.
Each of those experiences made us stronger as agents and as a team. When something unexpected happens — and sometimes it does — you need a real person who knows your booking, has direct relationships with the resort, and can actually fix things. That's what we're here for.
