Caribbean beach honeymoon hero

Few things say "honeymoon" quite like a Caribbean beach — warm turquoise water, powder-soft sand, and nothing on the agenda but each other. The hard part is choosing, because the region is full of contenders. Whether you're after a lively stretch lined with luxury resorts or a quiet, barefoot hideaway, here are our favorite Caribbean beaches for a relaxing, romantic honeymoon — along with where to stay and when to go.

1. Grace Bay Beach, Turks & Caicos

Regularly voted one of the best beaches in the world, Grace Bay is the gold standard of Caribbean relaxation. A protected offshore reef keeps the water calm and impossibly clear, the sand is famously soft and white, and the beachfront is lined with elegant resorts and villas. It's the kind of place where the days melt into one long, blissful blur.

2. Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman's signature beach is a long, gentle sweep of coral sand with calm, warm water that's ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It's lined with upscale resorts — among them the Ritz-Carlton, the Westin, and Kimpton Seafire — so a spa day or a gourmet dinner is never far away. (A quick clarification from the old version of this article: Cayman's resorts are luxury rather than all-inclusive, so we'll match you to the right one for how you like to travel.)

3. Eagle Beach, Aruba

One of the widest, whitest beaches in the Caribbean — and a favorite for couples who want sun without storm-season anxiety, since Aruba sits below the main hurricane belt. Eagle Beach is famous for its gently leaning fofoti trees and its uncrowded, laid-back feel.

4. Anse Chastanet, St. Lucia

St. Lucia is one of the most romantic islands in the Caribbean, and Anse Chastanet is a shining example of its allure. This dramatic volcanic-sand beach is tucked between lush rainforest and the iconic Piton peaks, with one of the region's best house reefs for snorkeling and diving right offshore. The resort leans into back-to-nature luxury — airy, open rooms, spa treatments, water sports, and candlelit dinners on the sand under the stars.

5. Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Island, Bahamas

Yes, the sand really is pink. This three-mile stretch on tiny Harbour Island is one of the Caribbean's most exclusive and romantic escapes — calm water, blush-toned sand, and a cluster of intimate boutique hotels that feel a world away from everything.

6. Juanillo Beach, Cap Cana, Dominican Republic

Home to the adults-only Secrets Cap Cana, Juanillo Beach is a stunning crescent of soft white sand and calm, swimmable turquoise water in the exclusive Cap Cana enclave near Punta Cana. It's polished, postcard-perfect, and made for a relaxing, grown-up honeymoon.

When to Go

The Caribbean's dry season — roughly December through April — brings the best beach weather and is peak honeymoon time. Hurricane season runs June through November, with the highest activity late summer into fall; travel is still very doable, but we always recommend insurance and flexible bookings for those months. For more on timing, see our guide to where to honeymoon during hurricane season.

Bliss Specialist Tip

"The 'best' Caribbean beach really depends on the two of you — lively and resort-lined, or quiet and barefoot. Tell us which way you lean and we'll point you to the beach and the room that fit, right down to the view."

Want to add snorkel trips, catamaran sails, or sunset cruises to your stay? You can browse Caribbean tours and experiences here.

And if endless beach days aren't really your thing, we've got you covered there too — see our guide to a Caribbean honeymoon beyond the beach for rainforests, mountains, and culture.

Wherever you land, the right Caribbean beach can make a honeymoon feel like it's lasted a month — in the best possible way. Matching couples to the beach (and the resort) that fit them perfectly is exactly what an experienced honeymoon travel agent is for.
