The Perfect Week In St Lucia

If you’re like most couples, you’re probably looking for the right balance on your honeymoon. You don’t want to spend every minute on the go, but, at the same time, you don’t want to risk getting bored. We created this itinerary for a couple traveling to the gorgeous island of St Lucia. They were looking for an itinerary that allowed them to experience the people and the culture, but also gave them a little downtime to recuperate from months of wedding planning.
Here’s the perfect 7-Day itinerary for a couple traveling to St Lucia.
MONDAY:
Arrive in St Lucia, and after enjoying a helicopter transfer to your resort, spend the rest of the day relaxing.
TUESDAY:
Indulge in the island’s Chocolate Decadence Tour. Your journey begins on a luxury catamaran from Castries to the Rabot Chocolate Estate. You’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch, followed by a leisurely afternoon mud bath in the sulfur springs. Many of the hotels on the island offer chocolate spa treatments made from local ingredients. Be sure to ask your hotel concierge for more info!
WEDNESDAY:
Spend the day relaxing on the beach at your resort. Order a little room service between your afternoon nap and dinner. Many of the resorts have an onsite photographer, so why not schedule a photo session to commemorate your honeymoon?!
THURSDAY:
Take a catamaran over to a private estate where you’ll learn all about local cocoa, sugar cane, and coffee production. Then see the island from the treetops with an amazing zip lining tour! Top it off with a local creole lunch, and a two-hour sail around the island.
FRIDAY:
Why not give back on your honeymoon? Spend a day with a local charity. You can contribute to local cleanup efforts or assist with a local meal plan program.
SATURDAY:
Need an adrenaline rush? Try the rainforest cycling adventure or hike the beautiful piton mountains!
SUNDAY:
Spend the day relaxing at your resort before heading out for a romantic, sunset catamaran sail around the island.
This itinerary provided the couple a lot of opportunities to see what this amazing island has to offer, along with some time to relax on the beach and take in the beautiful scenery.
