The most popular hotels sell out quickly

Many Caribbean hotels that are listed on the “best hotels in the world list” have less than 300 rooms! It’s not uncommon for the more popular hotels to sell out months in advance. That is why the best time to book your honeymoon is far enough in advance to ensure you get the perfect hotel destination.

The best hotels don’t have excess inventory!

While hotels here at home frequently turn to Groupon or other flash sale sites to get rid of extra inventory, the more desirable hotels in the Caribbean & Mexico are frequently selling out. Between travel agents, online agencies, and direct bookings, hotels have hundreds of different distribution channels. So unless they have a large group that cancels, it’s unlikely they’ll have a last-minute offer to offload unsold rooms.

You want a great room

It’s your honeymoon!  Chances are you would like a room as close to the beach as possible with a great view, and maybe a swim-up suite or a plunge pool! The best rooms tend to go quickly!
