Booking your wedding Date: El Dorado Royale & Casitas Royale allows you to book your wedding date up to 18 months in advance. A $200.00 deposit is required to hold the date. The remainder will be due 45 days before your wedding. 

Your Wedding Coordinator: Once you have secured your date, you will be assigned a wedding designer to assist you with the ceremony details. This designer will work with you for the duration of the planning process.

Wedding Venues: This resort offers a lot of great indoor and outdoor venues. So if you want to get married on the beach or an elegant ballroom, you’ll find beautiful options for both. 

Legal Requirements: To be legally married in Mexico, you must arrive 3 business days before your wedding date. A blood test is required to be married in Mexico. El Dorado Royale & Casitas Royale have a judge on property, so you don’t have to go into town to complete your test and paperwork.

Best time to travel: Anytime is a good time to travel to Riviera Maya! The weather is typically hot and sunny year round. September tends to be a little rainy. 

Budget Friendly: The most expensive time to travel is from Christmas through Easter. Planning your wedding around these dates will make it more affordable for you and your guests. 

The Suites: The casita suites offer gorgeous ocean views and private outdoor showers. The swim-up suites are among our favorites. 

Dining: There are 8 a la carte restaurants to choose from. There are no restaurant reservations required, which means unlike other resorts, you’ll never have to get up at 6:00 AM to make your restaurant reservations!
