Don’t Like the Beach? Why the Caribbean Could Still be Perfect for Your Honeymoon

Let’s face it; not everyone loves the idea of spending an entire vacation at the beach. Even when that beach happens to be in the Caribbean, doing nothing but soaking up rays and swimming in the sun just might not appeal to you. That doesn’t mean, however, that a Caribbean honeymoon won’t be a perfect fit for you and your sweetheart.

It’s true!

Chances are if you delve deeper than the shoreline in some of the Caribbean’s most popular stops, you’re going to find some good reasons why destinations in this region are still perfectly romantic and incredibly adventurous.

The Caribbean has a long, storied history that’s been well-protected in many areas. There are nearly 20 UNESCO World Heritage Sites found right in the Caribbean. In the Caribbean, you’ll find such places to explore as the Brimstone Hill Fortress in St. Kitts, the entire town of St. George in Bermuda, the barrier reef of Belize, and much more. If history and culture are your things, the Caribbean is well worth exploring. The culture and arts of this entire region are rich and intriguing.
